For this week’s Get Sketchy challenge, I used some beautiful fall-colored papers from Basic Grey’s Pyrus collection.
Fall is my favorite time of year…I love living in an area where the leaves change colors! I really need to get out and take pictures before all the leaves fall off of the trees!
Here’s the sketch for this week:
and here’s my card…I added a spot for an epoxy accent that I made with Glossy Accents. After it was dry, I inked the top to give it a more distressed and aged look.
After I glued everything down, I realized my diagonal is opposite the sketch, but it still looks fine! I think it’s because I intended to flip the sketch to make a vertical card and somehow flipped the direction of the diagonal!
Supplies: Paper (Basic Grey’s Pyrus collection), Stamps & Ink (Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip Ink and Dream Garden stamp set), Other: Glossy Accents.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
There’s still time to play along with this week’s Get Sketchy challenge and see what the design team has created with this week’s sketch!
Such a pretty card!
