Unscripted Sketches #73

This week at Unscripted Sketches, we’re featuring a bonus piggyback challenge!

What does that mean? Well, first, let’s take a look at this week’s Unscripted Sketch:

The piggyback challenge works like this: in addition to the challenge of making a card or layout with the weekly sketch, you can also “kick it up a notch” and make your card or layout in a monochromatic style. This means you use one color, but different shades of that color. My card is an example:

Supplies: Cardstock & Ink (Stampin’ Up!), Paper (Reminisce), Stamps (memory box & elzybells art stamps), Flowers (Prima), Brads (Imaginisce), Embossing Folder (Sizzix)

I flipped the sketch and used varying shades of purple to make my monochromatic card!

Purple is my favorite color, but I didn’t realize until I made this card that I don’t have a lot of purple-ish paper in my stash to choose from!
