I’m excited to make my first post as a member of the Unscripted Sketches design team!
I’ve been participating in Unscripted’s weekly sketch challenges for a while, and couldn’t resist applying when the call went out for new design team members! I’m honored to be a part of this magnificent group of ladies!
If you are just finding out about Unscripted Sketches, every Saturday morning we post a sketch for the week. Flip it, rotate it… create a card or a scrapbook page with our sketch. There’s no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted Sketch as the basis of your creation!
Here’s the sketch for this week:
and here’s my card!
We just got back from a trip to visit family and friends in California, and it was a nice change to come home to some cooler temperatures! For me, a nice cup of cocoa on a cool evening is divine…so it was the inspiration for my card!
The paper I used is from My Minds Eye and Pink Paislee. I stamped a heart pattern on a scrap of cardstock for the part in the lower left corner. The cocoa stamp is by Imaginisce, and the sentiment is from Elzybells Art Stamps. I colored the cup of cocoa with colored pencils.
Thanks for visiting, and I can’t wait to see what you create with this week’s Unscripted Sketch!

Suzanne, Love that cup! Great colors. I love hot cocoa and/or coffee. Great to join you on the US team. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Looks great! I've been enjoying our cooler weather too– hot tea is my evening drink.
