It’s been pretty hot here the past few days, and I’m glad that it’s finally cooling down a bit. We had temperatures this weekend in the high 80’s and low 90’s…which is hard to deal with when you don’t have A/C in your home! Good thing we’re finally cooling off today!
This week’s Curtain Call Challenge features both warm and cool colors:
I think the hardest part for me was coming up with a sentiment to use on my card. I knew what I wanted the card to look like, but once it was all together, I couldn’t come up with something “cute” to say! But, I finally figured something out, and used it to carry the design over to the inside of the card.
I used Lawn Fawn’s “Swimsuit Season” for the images, and “Harold’s ABCs.” Everything was stamped in Stampin’ Up Chocolate Chip ink.
The orange paper is by ki Memories, and the kiwi-ish paper is by My Mind’s Eye. The ribbon is also by Stampin’ Up. I used an EK Success border punch to make the waves on the front of the card, and embossed a cardstock strip with the Big Shot.
Thanks for looking at my card!
