This week’s colourQ challenge features a fun set of colors inspired by some vinyl butterfly wall decals:
I substituted some Prima patterned paper for the Wild Wasabi. It also has some turquoise dots in the pattern, which I think work well!
The sentiment was created with “Harold’s ABC’s” by Lawn Fawn Stamps, and the take-out box image is by AMuse Art Stamps.
I used a square of Tempting Turquoise to mat the image and sentiment, and debossed some Regal Rose cardstock for the bottom of the card. A strip of Bo Bunny Double Dot was substituted for the Early Espresso. I also stamped some of the take-out details with Melon Mambo ink and colored the hearts with a colored pencil. To finish the card, I added some glittery details with a gel pen.
Thanks for looking at my card! You can see all the other entries and the design team’s creations by visiting the colourQ blog!
Cute! I like the dotted paper on the top and embossed dots on the bottom.
Oh this is fun….those Lawn Fawn stamps always bring a smile to my face! Cute card!
Super cute card, Suzanne! thanks for playing the CQC!
