This week the Stampin’ Royalty Goddesses are challenging you to create your own background paper!
Just create a card, scrapbook layout, 3-D or digital project using this theme as the main inspiration behind your project!
Here’s the card I made for the challenge:
I used Stampin’ Up Elegant Eggplant cardstock for the base, and then stamped a damask pattern using an Impress rubber stamp in white VersaMagic ink. Then, I cut a strip of Perfect Plum cardstock for the border and attached some white satin ribbon.
The sentiment is stamped in Perfect Plum ink on Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment is from the Level 3 Hostess set, “Occasional Quotes.” I punched it out with an SU Curly Label punch. To complete the card, I used KaiserCraft adhesive pearls to accent the damask pattern.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my card! I hope you’ll visit Stampin’ Royalty to see all of the creative cards submitted for this week’s challenge!
