Unscripted Sketches #83

Happy Saturday and welcome back for another Unscripted Sketch!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! We had a very low-key celebration at home, just my husband, me and our dog! A few years ago, we decided to downsize our Thanksgiving turkey to just a turkey breast, which is just fine for the two of us! (It also leaves us with WAY less left over!)
And now, without further delay, here’s the Unscripted Sketch for this week!
I paired this week’s sketch with Basic Grey’s Oliver paper and this adorable “Street Corner Josh” stamp from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps!

Other supplies: coffee cup stamp and sentiment (Elzybells Art Stamps), Ink (Stampin’ Up!), cardstock (Stampin’ Up!), markers (Copic)
Thanks for visiting!

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: It’s Snowing Gingerbread!

This week’s Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World combines both the warmth of gingerbread with the frost of winter:

We’ve had a serious snowfall here in eastern Washington, which has given me lots of wintertime inspiration and indoor crafty time!
I was inspired by the kraft-like combo of the white icing with the gingerbread when I made my card:

Supplies: cardstock and ink (Stampin’ Up!), paper (Jillibean Soup, Imaginisce), sentiment stamp (Imaginisce), white opaque gel pen, die cut shapes and embossing folder (Sizzix), buttons.
I embossed the card base, then added strips of kraft cardstock and patterned paper. Then, I decorated die-cut snowflakes with a white gel pen and some buttons. Finally, I stamped a sentiment, matted it with cardstock, and adhered it to the card.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
There’s lots more Moxie Fab inspiration over at Cath’s blog, and you still have time to post your Tuesday Trigger-inspired creations before Sunday, December 5th! Click HERE for all the trigger-ific details!

Unscripted Sketches #82

Happy Saturday! Welcome back for another Unscripted Sketch!

Every Saturday morning we post a sketch for the week. Flip the sketch, rotate it… create a card, a scrapbook page, or anything your imagination comes up with! There’s no right or wrong way, as long as you’re using the Unscripted Sketch as the inspiration and basis of your creation!

Here’s the sketch for this week’s challenge:

I used the sketch for a holiday card, featuring paper by Collage Press and a cute stamped image from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! I tied a bow in place of the rectangle in the lower right hand corner.

Today I’m meeting up with my monthly stamp group to get some holiday cards done! I’m still trying to decide if I should do all my cards in the same design, or send a different one to each person! I only send out about 20 cards each year, so either choice wouldn’t be that bad!
Thanks for stopping by, and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create with this week’s Unscripted Sketch!
The rest of the Unscripted Sketches Design Team has more crafty inspiration for you, too! Don’t forget to stop by their blogs, too: Alanna, Angy, April, Arielle, Becky, CherylAnn, Debbie, Gardenia, Jenny, Lelia, Linda, Marcy, Sarah Kaye and Stephanie!
