Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #19

Hi there! I’m participating in another of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenges! This week’s theme is:

I’m pairing the theme for this challenge with one of SCRS’ new releases, Street Corner Josh:

I love this stamp…especially because it’s coffee themed!
I also used sentiment stamps and a coffee cup image by Elzybells. The background paper is from Basic Grey’s Oliver collection. All of the images are colored with Copic markers.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!

Get Sketchy #64

I really enjoyed working with this week’s Get Sketchy challenge sketch! I can definitely see using it for lots and lots of cards:
Here’s my entry for this week! I used paper from Basic Grey’s Olivia collection, a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm, and a sentiment sticker from SRM Stickers.

I colored in the image with some of my new Copics! I also used some American Crafts ribbon and SU and Bazzill cardstock to complete my card!
Thanks for visiting! Don’t forget to check out what’s new over at Get Sketchy!

Unscripted Sketches #81

Happy Saturday and welcome to another installment of Unscripted Sketches! I’m blogging from the road this week as the Creating Keepsakes convention winds down in Bellevue/Seattle this weekend! (I’ll do my best to post some pictures soon!)

Let’s get started with this week’s Unscripted Sketch (#81):

and here’s my card for this week:

I used various holiday papers by Cosmo Cricket and Collage Press for my card. The snow globe stamp is from a set by Recollections, and the metallic snowflake accents and chipboard letters are by American Crafts (Thickers)
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
I can’t wait to see what you’ll create with this week’s Unscripted Sketch! In the meantime, don’t forget to visit the rest of the Unscripted Design Team for more inspiration: Alanna, Angy, April, Arielle, Becky, CherylAnn, Debbie, Gardenia, Jenny, Lelia, Linda, Marcy, Sarah Kaye and Stephanie!

Bonus Card: Paper Crafts Card Swap

Just wanted to share with y’all the card that I made for the Paper Crafts Card Swap that I’m participating in at CKC-Seattle tonight!

I used papers by Jillibean Soup and some alpha stamps from We R Memory Keepers for my card. I used Stampin’ Up Only Orange for the letters, and Bazzill cardstock. To make the “flash” effect, I cut the sun shape and the circle with the Cricut and layered the shapes.
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
I’ll do my best to post some pictures from CKC-Seattle later this weekend! Hope you’re having a crafty weekend, too!

Color Throwdown #118

At first, I thought of using a gingerbread stamp for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge, but I went with reindeer instead!

Here are the colors for Throwdown #118:

I used a reindeer stamp by Imaginisce for my card. The scarves came from a different image stamp.

I embossed some Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the background and some vellum to look like snow. I added brads for the reindeer’s noses (with a red one for Rudolph, of course)!
I used a rub-on sentiment from Making Memories. The ribbon is actually some polka dot grosgrain in Soft Suede by Stampin’ Up, but since I already used the polka dots as snow, I thought I’d break things up with the solid side of the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card! There are lots more inspiring entries for you to check out at the Color Throwdown…and there’s still time to link your entry!

Curtain Call Act 55

What a fun set of colors to be inspired by for this week’s Curtain Call challenge:
I took the colors and made a holiday card:

The stamps are from Imaginisce. I pieced the hat and scarf from some other Imaginisce stamps that I have. The cardstock that I embossed is from Stampin’ Up! Everything was stamped in SU Chocolate Chip. I used some papers from SEI and Making Memories to work in the brown, black and white.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
There’s still time to play along! Just link up your Curtain Call Act 55 creation before midnight (CST) on Friday, November 12!

Stampin’ Celebration #27

The design team over at Stampin’ Celebration has come up with another inspiring group of photos for this week’s challenge:
For my card, I was inspired by the colors in the photos, and the fall theme:

Supplies: Stamps (Basic Grey), Paper (My Mind’s Eye), Cardstock & Ink (Stampin’ Up!)
I kept my card simple with some image and sentiment stamps from Basic Grey. I embossed and inked some cardstock for the base, border punched a strip of cardstock for the bottom and added a larger strip of patterned paper to mount the image and sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card!
Check out what’s new over at Stampin’ Celebration, too!

Stampin’ Royalty #44

Hi there! I played along with Stampin’ Royalty this week and it’s a color challenge:
I used the challenge colors to make a winter/holiday card:

Supplies: stamps (Imaginisce), Cardstock (Stampin’ Up!) Ink: (Stampin’ Up & Colorbox), Other: white gel pen, colored pencils, brads, clear buttons, Stickles.
All of the stamps I used are from Imaginisce. I pieced the hat and scarf on the dog from two other Imaginisce stamps that I have in my collection.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
There’s lots more to check out over at Stampin’ Royalty…the Goddesses have some really great examples to show you with the challenge colors!

Unscripted Sketches #80

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Unscripted Sketch!
If you’re just discovering Unscripted Sketches, every Saturday morning we post a sketch for the week. Flip it, rotate it… create a card, scrapbook page or other project with our sketch. There’s no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted Sketch as the basis of your creation!
Here’s Sketch #80!
For my card, I combined a cute image from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps (Scooter Chloe) with some mini papers from Cosmo Cricket’s Pixielicious collection!

I colored the image with a combination of markers, gel pens and colored pencils. I stamped a few extra presents and popped them up with foam squares. The large image is taking the place of the other rectangle in the sketch. I used two different paper punches to make the sun accent.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
I hope you’re inspired to get crafting with our sketch! For more inspiration, don’t forget to visit the rest of the Unscripted team: Alanna, Angy, April, Arielle, Becky, CherylAnn, Debbie, Gardenia, Jenny, Lelia, Linda, Marcy, Sarah Kaye and Stephanie!
