Lawnscaping FIT August Blog Hop

Hi, everybody! It’s time for our monthly Facebook Inspiration Team blog hop at the Lawnscaping Challenges blog! You’ve probably arrived here from Jess’s blog, but in case you’re starting here, you can find the full list of the blogs in today’s hop at the bottom of my post!

Our inspiration color for this month’s hop is YELLOW, so I made this “cheesy” card:

I used a few circle punches (Lawn Fawn‘s Circle Stackables dies would work great for this) and dies on a sheet of paper from the Let’s Polka petite paper pack and layered the die cut piece over a similarly-colored sheet of smooth yellow card stock that I had in my stash. The two layers are separated by foam tape.

I stamped the mouse from Critters on the Farm (one is reverse stamped), colored them, and adhered them between the two layers on the card front with a little square of foam tape. To create the sentiment, I combined the Scripty Thanks die and stamps from the Best Pun Ever set.

    Fun idea, Suzanne!

Wow, what a sweet and clever card! Love the mice and that die cut sentiment but I especially love how creatively you created one big piece of cheese out of the card with the circles!

This is SOOOO cute!!! Love that punny greeting, and the way you made your card front look like a block of cheese. Great coloring on the mice, too! ~ Andrea (artandcatloverinjville @ gmail . com)
