Stenciled Backgrounds with Make It Crafty!

Hi, everybody! I’m stopping in today to share some cards that I made for the Background Technique challenge at Make It Crafty! Our challenge runs throughout the month, and you can find all of the details at the Make It Crafty Inspiration blog!

With so many ways to create a custom background, it can be hard to decide which to use for your project! For today’s cards, I used stencils. My technique is pretty simple; I sponge ink through a stencil onto card stock. I often make my own stencils by cutting a design into a transparency sheet with my electronic die cut machine.

My first card features Felicity. She’s available at the Make It Crafty store as a digi or a rubber stamp.
