I got so inspired by all the damask loveliness over at Moxie Fab World that I decided to make a card to enter in the Diggin’ on Damask challenge! There’s still time to play along…the contest runs until midnight on Monday, November 8!
Cath has assembled lots of beautiful examples of damask patterns used in bags, notecards, even light switch plates and more! Check it out! This is one of my favorite images, some note cards from InkspotWorkshop:
My card features some paper from Basic Grey’s Eskimo Kisses collection.
I took the damask theme a few steps further by embossing some Tim Holtz grungeboard and inking it with several different colors to make my Christmas tree. Each of the chipboard “ornaments” is inked and stamped with a subtle damask pattern. I even stamped the star with a different damask stamp!
Super cute! Love your embossed grungeboard tree 😀
Hey Suzanne! Thanks for linking up to the Diggin' on Damask challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you came along for the ride! 🙂
