Stampin’ Celebration #15

If there’s one thing you can say about this week’s group of inspiration photos over at Stampin’ Celebration, it’s that they’re colorful!

The melted cupcake tin crayons look like they’d be fun to make and color with! And the paper chain brings back lots of fun memories when we used to make those out of construction paper!
For my card, I used the shape of the crayons and incorporated the many colors with a button stamp from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped the button image on scraps of paper, poked holes in each and created stitching with a fine tip brown pen. I also added clear glaze to each button to give them a little dimension. I embossed some kraft cardstock for the base, and stamped the sentiment on a scrap of vanilla cardstock. The flower is a chipboard embellishment by Cosmo Cricket. I threaded a button with linen thread to make the center.
All of my stamping was done with Stampin’ Up’s Chocolate Chip ink. The tape measure ribbon is by the girls’ paperie.
Thanks for taking time to look at my card! Don’t forget to visit Stampin’ Celebration to see the design team’s creations and to check out the other entries for this week!
