Get Sketchy #43

We’re finally seeing some sunshine today in the Pacific Northwest, and that makes me very happy! After my batch of blog posts, I’m going to get outside and enjoy it!

In the spirit of summer and sunshine, I used some bright colors on my card for this week’s Get Sketchy challenge, which is based on this sketch:

The colors in Cosmo Cricket’s DeLovely collection are perfect for a bright, summery card!
I altered the chipboard Thickers to match my card. They were originally plain chipboard that I inked with some VersaMark seafoam chalk ink. The stamped flower is from SU’s Eastern Blooms set and is stamped in Melon Mambo ink. I added the rhinestones to the flower’s center.  I left some white space in the card, so it’s possible to tuck a small picture or other image under the ribbons to further customize the card.

Thanks so much for looking!
