Normally, I don’t combine challenges (I make one card for each blog challenge that I enter), but I did with this card.
It fits both the Caardvarks May sketch challenge, which was to choose between two sketches for your card (click here for details) and an American Crafts Brad Week challenge, which was to include two or more American Crafts brads on your card or layout (click here for more info).
This is the sketch I used from Caardvarks:
And this is the card that I made!
The card base and the patterned papers are from American Crafts’ Heat Wave collection (Cherry Cowabunga and Pretty Papaya) and AC’s Letterbox collection (With Love). I used an AC jeweled brad in the center of the flower on the octopus’s head (which was also cut from the Cherry Cowabunga paper), and an AC pearl brad in the center of the flower in the top left corner.
Other supplies: Stampin’ Up ink, Imaginisce stamp, Stickles.
Here’s the inside of the card; I used AC’s Purkey rub-ons to create the sentiment:
Thanks for looking!
