Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2010

Paper Crafts Magazine is hosting another Gallery Idol competition for 2010. The first round of cards is due by May 24 to a Flickr gallery, which you can reach by clicking HERE.

The theme for the first round of competition is “Thank You” cards, and here’s what I submitted:

The card base is Bazzill cardstock. The patterned papers are from Pink Paislee (black & white) and Basic Grey. I used two stamps from Stampin’ Up!’s Chic Boutique set. The Eiffel Tower stamp was stamped on a transparency using Staz-On ink. I also used Staz-On to customize the twill ribbon with Technique Tuesday stamps. I glued a lighter pink cardstock to the inside of the card to help the transparency image stand out more.
This is the second card I’m submitting. The card base is Bazzill cardstock, and the papers are “Buttons a la Mode” and “Bona Fide” from Graphic 45’s Fashionista and Renaissance Faire collections. The stamp is from Stampin’ Up!’s “Very Thankful” set. The pearl brad is from American Crafts. I am not sure of the manufacturer for the ribbon or the paper flowers.

As always, thanks for visiting and looking at my cards!
