Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new Double Take Tuesday challenge at The Greeting Farm! Thanks to those who played along in our sketch challenge last week…we were blown away by your creations!

This week, we’re mixing things up with a color challenge, and our inspiration colors are purple and green!

Here’s my card, featuring “Sitting Wonderful“! The sentiment and gift on my card are from TGF’s “Lucky Bunnies” set:

Paper Smooches SPARKS: Picture Perfect

Greetings! Just popping in today to share my card for the new SPARKS challenge at Paper Smooches! This time, it’s a “Picture Perfect” challenge!

For my card, I used images and a sentiment from the “Woofers & Tweeters” set:

Other supplies: card stock, patterned paper (Echo Park), embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz), metal dies (Spellbinders), button, twine (The Twinery), Copic markers, Brilliance Graphite Black Ink, orange ink (Stampin’ Up).
To make the background, I die cut the heart from the white card stock, then embossed the panel. Finally, I inked up my brayer and rolled it along the embossed panel. To make sure the heart was placed in the dog’s mouth, I cut a slit with my craft knife, then slipped a corner of the heart underneath.
You may already know that I almost always color my dog stamps grey/black in honor of my dachshund, Midnight. I thought the color scheme for this challenge was perfect!
And here is the photo that inspired my card:
For all of the details on this challenge and for more picture perfect inspiration, stop by the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog! The deadline for this challenge is Sunday, February 3 at 10:59 PM Eastern.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Mabelle R.O. Mondays – Valentine Bear

Hi, crafty friends! I hope you enjoyed our Whimsy and Stars Studio blog hop earlier this month! It makes me so happy to know you are all visiting my blog and that you like what I’ve been sharing with you!

On the 5th of every month, we’ll be previewing the latest releases at Whimsy and Stars Studio. I’m also making the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month during my DT term as “Mabelle R.O. Mondays” on my blog!

Today, I’m featuring “Valentine Bear” and “Dancing Love“, which are both available as digital stamps in the Whimsy and Stars Studio Store! Aren’t they both SO cute? I don’t send out many Valentine cards (I make one for my husband and send one to each of my three nieces), but I love making them!

Also, don’t forget to stop by the Whimsy and Stars Studio store to check out all the ADORABLE love and Valentine digis that Mabelle has for sale, in addition to the two new releases we featured this month! You’re sure to find one (and more) that you’ll fall in love with!

You can also keep up with the latest Whimsy and Stars Studio happenings on Mabelle’s blog and our Facebook group! Be sure to mark your calendar for our next DT blog hop on February 5th! We’ll be previewing the new releases at Whimsy and Stars Studio…you won’t want to miss it!

We’re so excited about the hop today because this release is HUGE! We’ve had a blast playing with all of the cuteness, and we know you will too!
We’re also announcing that another new illustrator has joined the YNS family: Angie Blom! I think we all fell in love with her new Insta Love Set, which totally rocks! I posted a sneak peek project with the set yesterday (you can scroll down to the next post or click HERE to see my card):
We have 3 prizes hidden along the hop! Just make sure you leave a comment on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win an amazing new release prize pack!!! Winners will be announced on the Your Next Stamp Blog on January 28th.
We also want to THANK YOU for helping us reach our goal of 1,000 followers on Facebook! If you haven’t done so yet, head over to the Your Next Stamp Page and ‘Like’ us!
And here are my projects for today’s hop!
Cupcake toppers created with the new “Critter Crew” set!

These are super easy to make…color the critters, use a metal die to create the topper, tape to a straw and top the cupcake! (The frosting is easy too…just spoon the can of frosting in a gallon zipper bag, cut one of the corners, and spiral on…I picked the 4 most photogenic ones for the picture.)

Valentine/love tag created with new “I Ruff You” set (the banner comes from the new Fishtail Banner set, and the heart is from the Whatnots Seasons One set!)
As always, we have a Blog Hop Special in the Your Next Stamp Store! All online orders will receive 20% OFF! Just use code YNSJAN2013.
Now it’s time to hop on over to Kelli’s fabulous blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment here before you leave! Happy hopping and shopping!

CCC Week 9 – Red, White and Brown

It’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for a new Christmas Card Challenge! This week, we’re inspiring you with a color combo!

We’re creating cards with red, white and brown…and here’s mine:

It’s not necessary that you use a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!
