YNS Tasty Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday, everybody! It’s Tasty Tuesday time at Your Next Stamp!

So, what is Tasty Tuesday? Each month, the Design Team at Your Next stamp will inspire you with a tasty picture from Pinterest that you’ll use to create something fun with your YNS stamps! Different DT members stop by the YNS blog each Tuesday to share what they’ve created…and you have all month to join us!

Today, it’s my day to post a card, and here it is!

CCC Week #12 – Tags!

Happy Sunday! I hope you enjoyed The Greeting Farm’s blog hop announcing our new die and stamp combo sets! Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by and left comments…I always enjoy reading your comments to see what you think about my cards and projects!

Today, I’d like to share my tag for this week’s Christmas Card Challenge, which is of course, tags!

I featured the adorable “Light Me Up” image by Your Next Stamp on today’s tag:

Other supplies: patterned paper (My Mind’s Eye), sentiment stamp (PaperTrey Ink), Stickles, Copic markers, opaque white marker.

Remember, all of our challenges are optional…the only “real” rule is that you must create a new Christmas, Holiday or Hannukah card, then link it up on our blog so we can stop by and say hi!

It’s not necessary that you use a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

Don’t forget to visit the rest of the CCC team to take a peek at the fun and festive cards they’ve created this week: AlannaCorinneJennifer, JovitaKarenKatieLeesaLorieMargoMichelePatStephanie…and our guest designer Juliane!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week, and don’t forget to link your entry on the Christmas Card Challenges blog! See you there!

It’s a TGF release to DIE for!

Hi there! Hope you’re enjoying our special new release blog hop…and that you are as excited as we are about this new release!

The Greeting Farm is branching out in a NEW direction, and we are so excited to unveil what you may have seen bits and pieces of after CHA!  Yes, the rumors are true!  While TGF will still continue to bring you the cute characters you’ve come to know and love, I’m excited to share a new collection of clear stamp sets with you that come packaged with….MATCHING DIES!
TGF took its time testing them until they found the perfect fit and we think you’ll love them!  They work in any standard die cutting machine (Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Grand Calibur, etc.) and come tucked in with their matching stamp sets for an amazing price of only $10.50 per set!  Your papercrafting adventure just got a little more exciting, right?
To celebrate this exciting news, The Greeting Farm is welcoming SIX talented guest bloggers to our party today and we couldn’t be more excited to have them along with us!
I used all four of the sets today! They work great together or separate! Each comes with several images and a matching sentiment, giving you LOTS of creative options!
Here are my cards:

I used the metal die to cut a cloud out of felt. It cuts beautifully!
You can mix and match the tops and bottoms of the cupcakes in the set, giving you lots of fun options!
The sets work great together and build on each other! They are also great for accenting cards and projects created with all of your favorite characters from The Greeting Farm!
and in case you missed it, here’s an encore showing of my sneak peek card from yesterday:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’re enjoying everyone’s posts and creations!

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm’s blog once you complete the hop and enter for your chance to win ALL FOUR new stamp/die sets!

Seize the Birthday #6 – Masculine

Howdy, everybody! I’m blogging from the road today as we’re starting our road trip for (what I hope is our final) cross-country move. Before I get to my card post, I just wanted to update you on things happening in my personal life.

After close to 9 years of being an Army Wife and moving from Louisiana (where I’m from) to northern New York to Georgia to Washington and now to northern Virginia, I’m SO ready to settle in and finally have a crafty space all to myself! Scott recently departed the Army after 16 years of service, and we’re relocating so he can start his civilian job.

The hardest part of every move has been that I’ve had to say goodbye to friends I’ve made. It’s especially hard this time, because I got to know so many super-cool and creative ladies while I’ve been here. It’s not so much a goodbye this time as it is a “see you later”…but that doesn’t make it any easier!

Anyway, *sniff* on to my post for today…the masculine half of the sketch over at “Seize the Birthday“!

Here’s my card! I used one of my favorite guy images, “Turntable Josh” by Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps:

Other supplies: patterned paper (orange houndstooth – My Mind’s Eye “Fly a Kite” mini pad; polka dot and solid papers – Authentique “Endless/Fair Weather” mini pad.) sentiment stamps (Paper Smooches – “Sentiment Sampler” and “Word Salad“), Copic markers, twine (“Twisted Teal” – Trendy Twine), watermark ink, white embossing powder, Brilliance Graphite Black ink, Spellbinders circle die.

And here’s the sketch:

My card for last week’s “Seize the Birthday” was one of the cards picked to receive “Birthday Honours”!
It’s the same sketch as the one featured this week, but with a feminine touch:
This challenge runs until Tuesday, February 19th at noon Pacific Time. You can find all of the details at the “Seize the Birthday” blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you haven’t hopped along with The Greeting Farm yet, make sure to stop by each blog and leave comments….you could win all four new stamp and die sets!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a new Christmas Card Challenge! See you then!

Valentine’s Day: The Grim Creeper Returns!

It’s Valentine’s Day, and whether it’s a holiday you love or loathe, we hope you’ll LOVE the cards we’ve created for you today!

In case you’re wondering what this is all about, some of my crafting besties and I came up with ideas for “stalker sentiments” on one of our very, very late night crafty chats.

We had our first “Grim Creeper” hop on Halloween, and the response was so great, we wanted to share some more with you on Valentine’s Day with another blog hop!

The idea behind these cards is to subtly surprise and creep you out.  I am sort of ashamed to admit, but these come easy to me…maybe I watch too many crime-related TV shows or scary movies, but some of the sentiments were pretty easy to come up with!

So, I have two cards to share with you today! They both feature some free retro photos I found online and each has a “stalker sentiment” from our ever-growing list.

Your next stop on our “Grim Creeper” hop is Aileen’s blog! (You can find the full list of hop participants at the bottom of my post!)

Don’t worry, I’ll be back to my regular schedule tomorrow with a blog hop to celebrate The Greeting Farm‘s newest release…it’s simply to DIE for!

Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to hear from you! I read all of the comments that y’all leave for me…and if you have any questions about my these or any of my cards, I’ll definitely answer them!
