Drunken Stampers #90
Here’s my card:

Supplies: glitter (Martha Stewart Crafts), cardstock (Stampin’ UP – red, pink; Papertrey Ink – kraft, white), twine (Trendy Twine), sentiment stamp (Paper Smooches), Ranger Glossy Accents, Cuttlebug embossing folder, vellum, wood button. |
I made the star accents by drawing a star on card stock, traced it onto thicker card stock, ran it through my Xyron sticker maker, then added glitter to the sticky side, sealed it with Glossy Accents and let it dry overnight. The green star didn’t come out as “limey” as I would have liked it to be in the picture, but it looks closer to that color in person.
I added a square of vellum to the red card stock square to soften it. It was pretty challenging working with all five colors (I’m used to a limit of 4)!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Scott & I went out with two other couples on Sunday to see The Avengers…it was awesome! We don’t go to the movies very often, but we make an exception for movies like that one…pure superhero excitement!

colourQ #131
I used some stamps from Paper Smooches and paper from American Crafts’ Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection for this week’s card:

Supplies: card base, image and sentiment stamps (Paper Smooches – Spring Fling), cardstock (Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, So Saffron, Blushing Bride – Stampin’ UP!), paper flower, clear button, jute twine, leaf punch (Martha Stewart Crafts), embossing folder (Sizzix), grass border punch (Fiskars), twill tape, patterned paper (American Crafts – Dear Lizzy – Neapolitan mini pad), Copic markers, ink (Tsukineko Brilliance). |
I paper pieced the bunny and carrot images, used Copics to accent some parts on the images and then colored the butterfly. The flower was stamped on Blushing Bride cardstock, and then adhered to the grass. To make sure the center of the flower matched, I punched a circle from the So Saffron cardstock and adhered it to the button.
So, are you ready to get crafty? Here’s this week’s colourQ!
