I decided to try something different this week — a circle easel card. My friend Sandy gave me one with my Secret Elf present at Christmas! You can see her post on it HERE.

| Supplies: card stock (Bazzill Basics), patterned paper (Jillibean Soup – Dutch Mustard Soup paper pad), Nestabilities dies (Lacey Circles, Standard Circles Small/Large), image stamps (My Mind’s Eye), sentiment stamp (Paper Smooches), opaque white embossing powder, watermark ink (VersaMark), brown ink (Stampin’ Up – Chocolate Chip), embossing folder (Sizzix), grosgrain ribbon (Stampin’ Up!), rhinestone. |
Beate Johns has an excellent tutorial on how to make circle easel cards on her blog. I’m sure she explains it in better detail than I would. Besides, I think in trying to reverse-engineer the card I probably didn’t set up the easel part right…but, it opens and stands, so I guess that’s OK!

I think this is great Suzanne! I like the idea of the clock with the phone (as in: oh dear I seem to have been on the phone chatting for an hour now…!) and the colours are just wonderful.
