Hi, everybody! Where did the month of January go? I’m kind of glad it’s over, because that means warmer weather is on the way…or at least I hope it is!
Because it’s a new month, that means it’s also time for a new challenge at Some Odd Girl, and this month, we want to see your mad misting and/or masking skills!
Here’s my card! It features stamps from the “Hey Mae” and “Artist Mae” clear sets. I made a stencil with the triangle pattern from the Rectangle Card Background cut files, and made a custom background:

SOG Supplies: image stamp (Hey Mae), sentiment stamp (Artist Mae), cut file (Rectangle Card Backgrounds), Other supplies: watermark ink, white embossing powder, foam tape, assorted Copic markers, staples, washi tape (We R Memory Keepers), arrow paper clip (Freckled Fawn), neon ink (Hero Arts), staples, card stock, solid papers (American Crafts), embossing folder (Sizzix/Tim Holtz), rhinestones. |
I sponged watermark ink onto the card stock after masking it with the stencil. Then, I removed the stencil and heat embossed white powder over the ink. I altered the embossing with neon inks, and wiped off the excess with a paper towel.
So, it’s your turn to get your craft on! Grab your SOG clear or digi stamps, get misting and masking and link your entry for this month’s challenge at the Some Odd Girl blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
