Garden Variety Tuesday: 1+5+5

Happy Tuesday, Friends of the Farm! I hope your week is going well so far!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments you left for me and the rest of the DT during this weekend’s new release blog hop! We love hearing what you think about our creations with each month’s new release!

Our Garden Variety Tuesday challenge for this week is based on today being the 155th day of the year. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it (and I’m really hoping you will), is to use a recipe of 1+5+5 on your entry.
For my card, I chose to feature “Winky Bean” (1 image) and added five flowers + five adhesive pearls/gems …whew! But, you can make your own combination of 1+5+5 for this challenge!

TGF stamp: “Winky Bean“; paper (“Sugar Rush” 6×6 pad), glitter brads, flowers, sheer ribbon, assorted Copic markers, adhesive gems/pearls, Stickles, Spellbinders Labels 25 die.
So there you have it! Be sure and stop by the TGF blog to see what the rest of the DT created for this week’s Garden Variety Tuesday and to get all of the details on how to link up YOUR entry for this challenge!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,

Oh, BABY! It’s time for the TGF June Release!

Hi, sweet Friends of the Farm!

Thanks so much for joining me today for the JUNE release at The Greeting Farm! You probably arrived here from the TGF blog, and I’m so glad you stopped by!

As you’ve seen over the past few days, we’re going “ga-ga” over this new installment of cuteness available NOW in the TGF Store!   We’re welcoming the new onesie die (and accessories), the revamped Anya and Ian stamp set, the new Winky Bean, and a new WS “Charlotte Chic”!  We’re keeping it sweet and sassy this month and can’t WAIT to see what you do with these new items!

I have two projects to share with you today…the first is a quick set of gift tags that I made with the recently re-released Baby Anya & Ian stamp set!

These came together pretty quick. I cut a standard card base in half, added a panel of patterned paper and stamped the sentiment on a coordinating strip of paper. Adding the colored image, punching a hole, then threading twine, and you’re done! 🙂

I’ll leave you now to continue our Blog Hop, where you’ll not only find inspiration and adorable project samples, but you’ll also be on your way to a chance to WIN the ENTIRE JUNE RELEASE!   One lucky winner who hops and comments on each DT members’ blog and then returns to the TGF BLOG to let us know they did, will win and you have ALL WEEKEND to hop since today’s a Saturday!

Just enter by Sunday, June 2nd at 11:30 pm and we’ll announce the winner along with our fabulous June Guest Designer Monday morning, June 3rd.  Your next stop on the hop is Rosie’s fabulous blog! Happy hopping, everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Today, we have a new challenge for you at The Greeting Farm…and this challenge is for the boys!

Since we’re making masculine cards this week, I thought the “Handy Ian” digi would be great to use, especially since Father’s Day will be here before we know it! (He’s still available in the TGF store!)
The papers I used have been in my stash for a while. Glad I finally used them!
TGF stamp (“Handy Ian” digi), Other supplies: jute twine, wood button, mini screw brads, assorted Copic markers, patterned paper (“Vintage T” 6×6 pad – We R Memory Keepers), silver gel pen, Memento Nautical Blue ink.
So, what’s the scoop on joining in the Farm Fresh Friday Fun?

More Summer Fun at Your Next Stamp!

Hi, everybody! We’re wrapping up a month of Summer Fun Fridays at Your Next Stamp today, and I have one more card to share with you to kick off your summer!
Today’s card features “Oceana,” one of the new Darling Divas released this month at Your Next Stamp!
Supplies: image stamp (“Oceana” – Your Next Stamp), patterned paper/ die cut accent (“Corinne” collection – SEI), assorted Copic markers, Spellbinders oval and Lacey Oval dies, twine, cardstock (Stampin’ UP).
It’s really starting to feel like summer here. We’ve had temperatures in the 90’s already! It sure makes me miss the summers we were used to in Washington State. Guess it’s time to re-acquaint myself with summertime humidity…even though I grew up in the South, I didn’t miss the heavy heat when we were living in other parts of the country!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

TGF June Release Preview: Charlotte Chic!

Happy Thursday, Friends of the Farm! It seems like forever since I’ve blogged, but what I have for you today is worth the wait!
We’ve been previewing the June release this week at The Greeting Farm, and it’s my turn to share some creations with you that I made with the newest Wild Sprout, “Charlotte Chic”!
She’s a new, updated rubber stamp based on the “Charlotte” digi that’s still available in The Greeting Farm Store…and she’s fashionably fabulous!
For my first card, I paired Charlotte Chic with some bright, fun papers. Making these cards gave me the opportunity to practice my skills for coloring curly hair and darker skin tones! I paper pieced her shirt with some coordinating paper and added a flower to her headband. The sentiment I used is from the “Anya Styles” set.
For my second card, I kept the theme of bright and bold colors and added some polka dots to her headband and shirt. The sentiment on this card is from the “Anya Celebrates” set.

So, what do you think? This fashionable and fierce Wild Sprout will make her runway debut June 1st, but, you can have the chance to win her just by commenting on the blogs of the DT members who are previewing “Charlotte Chic” today: Suzanne (you’re here),  RachelAnnie Rose, and Jodi!

You have until 11:30 PM CST tonight to comment on the blogs and stop by TGF’s blog to let us know that you visited and left comments on all of them!

And, don’t forget about our RELEASE DAY BLOG HOP on Saturday, June 1st starting at the TGF blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

TGF Farm Fresh Friday: Make It Move!

Well, here we are for another Farm Fresh Friday…and this week, our very own Farmer Thanh is challenging us to make a card or project with something that moves!
I’ll admit, mine is a little bit of a cop-out. OK, maybe more than a little bit. I honestly had another, more ambitious project in mind, but it didn’t come out the way I wanted it to, and I wasn’t happy with it, so I made this instead.

I promise, the candy moves inside the cup…and it will also move when the back of the cup is opened!

I haven’t been able to locate my wobble springs since the move…and overall, it’s been a crazy week. I also apologize for the hot spot on the photo. I was editing it in a public place and my lighting wasn’t the greatest.

So, here’s my delicious, semi-moving card with “Anya Treats“:

My fellow farmers have seriously knocked this challenge out of the park…stop by The Greeting Farm’s blog to see them all!

So, what do you need to know to join us for our Farm Fresh Friday challenges? Here’s the scoop:
  • You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
  • *Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz below the challenge post on the TGF blog no later than Thursday, May 30th at NOON CST
  • You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in the comment section below the post on the TGF blog.)
  • *The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win their choice of an in-stock SINGLE RUBBER STAMP or a 4×6 set!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with many of your own sweet treats!

Your Next Stamp: May Release After Party!

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve enjoyed all of the fantabulous creations that the Your Next Stamp Design Team whipped up for this month’s release! We’re still celebrating with our May release “after party,” and I have a pair of cards to share with you today!
Don’t forget, all of the new stamps are available NOW in the YNS Store!
My first card features the second new Darling Diva to be released this month, “Oceana“!

I made the sand by first coloring the area with a combo of E33 and E34 Copics. Then I added a thin layer of Distress Stickles in Antique Linen. It makes great looking sand when it dries!

I made the button accent by die cutting a circle, stamping one of the sentiments from the set, threaded some matching twine through a large button and then glue dotting the stamped circle to the button.
Other supplies: patterned paper (American Crafts 6×6 mini pad), twine, adhesive rhinestones, assorted Copic markers, metal circle and scalloped circle dies, cardstock.

My second card features one of the two new fairy stamp sets! This is “Skye“!

YNS supplies: “Skye” image stamp, flower dies from “Spring Garden Die Set,” sentiment from “Blossom” stamp set. Other supplies: patterned paper (“Hey Girl” 6×6 pad – Basic Grey), circle and scalloped circle metal dies, Stickles, glitter brad, assorted Copic markers, circle hole punch, watermark ink, white embossing powder.

Don’t forget, there are still some special discounts available in the YNS Store until Sunday, May 26:

Your Next Stamp’s Tasty Tuesday Challenge!

Hi, everybody! I’m back to share my latest card for Your Next Stamp’s Tasty Tuesday Challenge!
I chose “Like, Totally Radical 80’s Fhiona” with some elements from the “Fantabulous 80’s Accessories Set” for my card:
And here’s the inspiration photo for this challenge:

I was inspired by the bright colors on the cupcakes…they totally made me think of the 80’s and all of the neon colors we wore! I also loved coloring up Fhiona’s hair…mine definitely wasn’t blonde, but I had a ginormous tight-curled perm! (I’ll spare you the school photo…)
For all the details on this challenge, stop by the YNS blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
