Hi, friends of the Farm! I hope you’re enjoying our surprise baby shower blog hop for the lovely Jessica Diedrich, who is getting ready for the arrival of her new baby girl, affectionately named “Baby Boo”! You’ve probably arrived from Thanh’s fabulous blog, and if you’d like to start at the beginning, just visit the TGF blog or check out the full list of blogs at the bottom of my post!

Because we love Jess so much and appreciate all that she does to keep things going so smoothly at The Greeting Farm, we wanted to show our love for her with this hop! I hope you enjoy it, too!

I’ve been playing around with my stamps lately and masking them to create different expressions, and thought it would be fun to try it with the “Baby Anya & Ian” set that was released last month at TGF!

I think a good name for this card would be “The Many Moods of Baby Boo.” Check it out:

SCRS Preview: Seattle Chloe!

Hi, crafty friends! It’s time for the final sneak peek for this month’s release at Sparkle Creations! Don’t forget to join us for SCRS’ 3rd Anniversary this Saturday with a HUGE blog hop filled with darling inspiration and PRIZES!

Our sneak peek today is “Seattle Chloe”! All of the new release stamps, including Seattle Chloe, will be available in the SCRS store on Saturday!

This is a bittersweet image for me. I had the pleasure of living near Seattle for the past 3 1/2 years and getting to hang out regularly with Sparkle, and our fabulous Canadian friends Peggy, Spike and Thanh! It’s really hard being on the opposite side of the country from them now, because I miss those gals so much! We still keep in touch through Facebook, but I definitely miss being able to meet up with them in person!

YNS Fun Friday!

Hi again! It’s my turn to post a card for Fun Friday at Your Next Stamp!

Did you know that we changed our challenge day to Friday, and are giving you more time to play along? Now, you have all month to join in our Fun Friday challenge, and our theme is much more flexible! 

We now host one challenge each month, and you can play along as many times as you like! We’ll provide an inspiration photo and a sketch. You can use one or the other for your entry, or both!

I used the sketch for today’s card and rotated it to the side. I’m featuring “Madison“, and the Wave Border Die. The fish image and sentiment are part of the “Madison” set. I stamped the fish on a chipboard circle, colored it and added Glossy Accents to make it into an embellishment.

My Masking Tutorial at Your Next Stamp!

Hi, everybody! I’m sharing a tutorial on the Your Next Stamp blog today on masking with your YNS stamps to create a scene!

The newly released “Howdy Farmer” and “Barnyard Love” sets are perfect for this technique! You can carry it over to other sets where you want more than one item to come together and look like it’s all one image.

Here’s a card that I made for YNS’s July Fun Friday challenge with the “Howdy Farmer” set. (There’s still time to play along!)

Getting sketchy for Garden Variety Tuesday!

Hi, everybody! We’re getting sketchy with the newest Garden Variety Tuesday challenge at The Greeting Farm! I picked “Cheeky Lessons” for today’s card:
I added some Glossy Accents on her glasses and the apple and substituted two metallic brads for the buttons on the sketch. The sentiment is from my stash.
