TGF Garden Variety Tuesday!

Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new Garden Variety Tuesday challenge at The Greeting Farm!

This week, we’re using stickers on our projects, so I chose a sentiment sticker for my card, which also features Birthday Anya 3 and the bottom of the Tulip Border Die.

Other supplies: sticker (SRM Stickers), “Totally Kraft” twine (Annie’s Paper Boutique/Trendy Twine), foam tape, wood button, assorted Copic markers.

So, are you ready to play along with us? Here’s what you’ll need to know:
  • You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
  • Entries must be uploaded via the InLinkz tool on the TGF blog at the bottom of the post no later than Monday, August 19 at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in a comment.)
  • The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win a digital image of choice from the TGF store.
  • But, WAIT! Each week, our friends have the opportunity to DOUBLE that prize to either two digis or, you can trade those two digis for a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, as long as we have 20 or more players each week, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!

Hugs,

A birthday card fit for a princess!

Hi, everybody! I’m sharing this card today on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog, featuring Mabelle’s “Little Princess” digi stamp!

This image reminds me of my youngest niece, Caroline, who is a self-proclaimed “fashionista,” and loves all things girly! She just started 1st grade on Friday and is having a birthday next month. I wanted to get a jump on making her card, and thought this image would be perfect for her!

Whimsy and Stars Studio digital stamp: “Little Princess“; Other supplies: designer paper – “Pretty Party” 6×6 pad (Crate Paper), scalloped flower die (Memory Box), trim, adhesive pearls, Spellbinders Labels 25, sentiment stamp (DeNami Designs), assorted Copic markers.

I’m also entering this card in the current Deconstructed Sketch challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Switching It Up for Farm Fresh Friday!

Happy FRIDAY, everybody! Hope you had a great week and are ready to “switch it up” with The Greeting Farm!

The DT had a BLAST with this challenge, and I know you will, too! Our challenge for you this week is to make an entirely different image by switching the head and body of two TGF stamps!

I chose Creeper Crew girls Abbey and Monday for today’s card…so, by sticking Monday’s head on Abbey’s body, I now have:

Cool, right? Now it’s your turn to show us your switched up creations!

For all of the details on this challenge, to check out all of the ah-mazing DT creations, AND to link up your entry, hop over to The Greeting Farm blog!

Happy 4th Birthday, YNS!

Hi, everybody! Glad you’re joining us today to celebrate Your Next Stamp’s 4th Birthday! We’re so happy to have you celebrating with us! You probably arrived from Nicole’s blog, but you can find the full list of blogs in today’s hop at the bottom of my post!

As part of the celebration, we’re introducing four clear stamps, part of a fabulous new stamp line designed by Penny Johnson exclusively for YNS, “In Vogue”!

I chose “Cocktail Girls” for today’s card:

Disclaimer: I drew a mouth on each lady in the image. The original artwork, when stamped, does not contain a mouth for either character. It was a personal choice and shouldn’t reflect on YNS or Penny Johnson.
And of course, we can’t have a celebration hop without prizes! Make sure to comment on each blog in today’s hop, because FOUR lucky random commenters will each win a stamp from this release:

Our blog hop runs until Saturday, August 10th at midnight Eastern Time, so make sure you get all of your commenting done before then! The list of winners will be posted on the YNS blog on Sunday, August 11th.
Wait, there’s more! Karen is having an anniversary sale in the YNS Store all month long! Here’s your chance to pick up some or all of the stamps on your YNS wish list!
Now, it’s time to visit the YNS blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

A colorful combination for Garden Variety Tuesday!

Hi, everybody! It’s my turn to post on The Greeting Farm’s blog and choose a theme for Garden Variety Tuesday!

I picked a color combo for today’s challenge, and here’s the easel card I made with “Frou Frou Birthday“! The flower tile accent and sentiment are from the “Layer Cake” clear stamp set.

I chose the color combo based on one of my favorite paper collections, “Park Bench” by Fancy Pants:

Some Odd Girl – August Sketch Challenge!

How’s it going, everybody? Just stopping in between my regularly scheduled posts this week to share my entry for the August sketch challenge at Some Odd Girl!

Here’s my card:

Supplies: digital stamps (“Bride Mae“, “1920s Kody” – Some Odd Girl), sentiment stamp (aMuse Studio), designer paper (“5th and Frolic” – Dear Lizzy/American Crafts), sequins, assorted Copic markers, Spellbinders Labels 25, watermark ink, white embossing powder, trim, sewing machine.

My parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this month, so I’ll be making another card similar to this one colored up to match them. (And, I’ll post it once I’ve given it to them so I won’t ruin the surprise.)

I am really getting into the sequin craze and the negative die cut space. It seems like a great way to add sparkles without adding bulk to a project.

Here’s the sketch for this challenge:

For all the details on this challenge (it runs until Wednesday, August 28th), visit Some Odd Girl’s blog!
