TGF GVT: Tic Tac Toe!

It’s Tuesday, so that means it’s time for a new Garden Variety Tuesday challenge at The Greeting Farm!

This week, we’re playing Tic Tac Toe! We picked three elements in a row from a game board of nine squares to use in our cards! I chose a die/punch, patterned paper and glitter for today’s card, featuring Anya from the new “Picture Perfect” set:


So, here’s what my Tic-Tac-Toe board would look like:


So, you’d pick three items in a line, whether they are across, down or diagonally, and use them to inspire your card or project for the challenge!

Ready to join in the fun? Here’s the info you need to know: 
  • You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
  • Entries must be uploaded via the InLinkz tool on the TGF blog at the bottom of the post no later than Monday, September 9 at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in a comment.)
  • The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win a digital image of choice from the TGF store.
  • But, WAIT! Each week, our friends have the opportunity to DOUBLE that prize to either two digis or, you can trade those two digis for a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, as long as we have 20 or more players each week, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!

Hi, everybody! I can’t believe it’s September already…but I’m glad it is, because we’re celebrating a new release at The Greeting Farm!

It’s a great day to share this month’s royally cute releases with you today! In addition to the release, we’ve got some super fun buzz going on over on our Facebook page regarding a “Super Secret Stamp Club” coming SOON! Also, if you haven’t read the August newsletter, be sure to check it out, because there’s an exclusive “esSAY what?!” contest going on for a few more weeks that you won’t want to miss!

It’s an "Anya-licious" challenge for today’s FFF!

It’s my turn to post a challenge at The Greeting Farm today for Farm Fresh Friday! Because we’ve been celebrating TGF’s 5th birthday, I also wanted to celebrate TGF’s Anya!
So, for this challenge, I chose “Anya Lifts,” and altered a coin envelope to make a sweet treat holder:

The Greeting Farm Preview: Royal Cutie Pies

Hi, everybody! It’s my turn to be part of the previews for the September release at The Greeting Farm! Today, we’re wrapping up our previews (before the Release Day hop, of course!) with another new set, “Royal Cutie Pies”!
 
Here are my projects for today! The first is a card, which features one of the “Royal Cutie Pies” and one of the sentiments included with the set:
 
 
My second project is an acrylic pillow box. I used the other image in the set to accent the box wrap. Since the box is aimed at sharing something sweet, I filled it with individual drink mix pouches.

TGF FFF: Back to School

Hello, friends of the Farm! Are you ready for a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge?
 
It’s been a busy week here at my house; we’re getting some things done in the yard and inside the house. I’m also working on my DT assignments for next week because we’re having company come to visit! If you have kids going back to school, I’m sure it’s busy at your house, too!
 
Our theme for this week’s Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm is “Back to School.” While I don’t have anyone heading back to the classroom, I thought this would be a cool project you can adapt for anybody who needs reminders or has a to-do list!
 
I repurposed an old CD case to make this sticky note holder. I did have to take it apart and flip the front side to make the holder stand up, but that’s the most difficult part of the process!
 
I used the “Valentine Anya” digi and an apple stamp from my collection on the holder. I had to cut her hands and reposition them so she could hold the apple.
 
I also added gloss to the chipboard letters to the glitter wouldn’t flake off.
