Today, I’m sharing a card that features a new digi stamp just released at Some Odd Girl! Say “hey” to “Wave Mae”! The sentiment is from SOG’s “Tiny Baker Tia” clear set. The layout is based on Deconstructed Sketch #128.

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Some Odd Girl join forces this week!

WELCOME, Odd friends!  As promised, we have an exciting week planned for you!  Some Odd Girl and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L – we’re STICKIN’ IT TO YA!


Today marks the first of five days of bonding stamps and sticky stuff! It’s going to be a fun and inspiring event that runs November 25th through December 1st, and I’m part of today’s showcase of stunning creations to share with you while you hop! 

On my card, I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L’s 3D Foam Squares – White Mix to create some dimension, and here’s a little peek at the layers from the side:


I used some of the larger foam squares to adhere the plate to the card front, and the smaller foam squares to stick the gingerbread man to the plate. I LOVE how these squares are separated from each other on the backing sheets…they are ready to go! 

I’ll share a little secret with you…I am a foam square addict!!! I use foam tape or squares on many of my cards. 

Sometimes I want to add support to a section, but it’s too small for a big square, so I cut them in half or into thirds before I stick them down on my project. It works great for a different shape, like the arms on the gingerbread man. With a strip of a larger foam square, the whole arm is supported instead of a part of it!

Here’s a picture of my card from the front! The image and sentiment are from SOG’s “Gingerbread Kaylee” clear stamp set! I made the plate by layering two punched circles, and drew in some crumbs with a matching pen. I used a scallop circle punch to make the “bite” in the gingerbread man’s leg.

Let it snow…and an announcement!

Happy Friday, everybody! It’s time for a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge at The Greeting Farm, and this week, we want to see your snowy creations! Our theme for this FFF is “Let It Snow”, and I picked “Beanie Ian” for today’s card:

We are waiting until December rolls around to introduce all things merry and bright, and wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving full of gratitude and grace! However, once December is here, we’ll be kicking off the festivities with a BANG! Since there’s no December release, we’re finding our muse in a different way…with all of YOU!

Visit our Facebook page starting TOMORROW (Saturday 11/23) at 10am. We will have a SIGN UP where you can leave your BLOG ADDRESS/URL. All participants must be willing to have their posts up at 12:00 noon, as this will be a large hop and there will be a lengthy list created to post all of the blogs in one place for you to scroll through. SOG New Digi and New Community Challenge!

Hi, everybody! I’m excited to share a card with you today featuring the latest digi released at Some Odd Girl! Are you ready for some delicious inspiration? Let’s kick things off with a preview!
We’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the United States next Thursday, and it looks like “Turkey Kaylee” is ready for the feast to begin! My inspiration for coloring Kaylee was Lucille Ball from the classic TV show, “I Love Lucy”! I love Kaylee’s cool retro look, don’t you?

SCRS Preview: Mailbox Josh

Hi, everybody! It’s the second day of new release previews at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, and today’s featured stamp is “Mailbox Josh”! He’s sending some “happy mail” to somebody special! I’m sure there’s somebody special that would love some “happy mail” from you too, right?

Football Tia makes a touchdown at SOG!

Hey everybody! Just popping in today to share a card that I made with one of the two new digis released today at Some Odd Girl! Here’s “Football Tia“:
Since my husband is a San Francisco 49ers fan and I follow the New Orleans Saints, I couldn’t decide which team colors to use…so I colored her up in some fierce hot pink and black gear! Maybe she’s playing Powder Puff Football?
My card layout is inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch! #53:
