Drunken Stampers #101

Happy Saturday! It’s my team’s turn to post our cards for this week’s challenge at Drunken Stampers, which is to use animal print(s):

I paired some funky patterned paper with a stamp set from Unity Stamp Company, “Change is a good thing“:

I paper pieced the design on the underwear, and used some of my grey Copics on the waistband and trim. I had a hard time figuring out the layout of the underwear, and probably could have added some brads or twine, but I ended up leaving the card this way.

To play along with us, all you need to do is link your project on the Drunken Stampers blog using the Linky Tool, and add your blog link, gallery link, etc. (for more info on how to participate please click How do I participate? tab)

Please add the link directly to your project (any generic blog links will be deleted from the list) and leave us a comment! (if Linky Tools isn’t working or just misbehavin’, just leave a comment with the link to your card) You have until  Friday, October 19 at 11:59 PST to post your link for this challenge!

You can check out what the other members of Team Mojito (and maybe some members of Team Flirtini) have created for this challenge by visiting the Drunken Stampers blog!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I’ll be crafting today with some local friends, and I’ll be back tomorrow with a new Christmas Card Challenge! Don’t forget, there’s still time to play along with the THINK PINK challenge at Your Next Stamp!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

colourQ #138

Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another colourQ challenge!

We have a fun combo of colors for you to create with this week (but don’t we always?)! Let’s get this week’s challenge rolling…with my card:

Supplies: kraft and white cardstock (PaperTrey Ink), red and yellow cardstock (Poppy Parade, More Mustard – Stampin’ UP!), striped patterned paper (Echo Park), image and sentiment stamps (Unity Stamp Company – “Hows It Rollin'” Itty Bitty set), mini brads (Basic Grey), jute twine, Brilliance Graphite Black ink, silver gel pen, Copic markers, foam tape, embossing folder (Cuttlebug).
and here’s the full set of colours, for your crafty reference:

To be considered for this week’s colourQueen, make sure to link your creation at the colourQ blog by Sunday, May 27 at noon Central Time! (Don’t forget to display the challenge colors and link back to the colourQ blog in your entry post.)
Of course, the rest of the colourQ Royal Court have created some fashionably fantastic projects with this week’s colors! You can see them on the colourQ blog or by visiting their personal blogs. (The links are to the right next to the thumbnail of this week’s challenge colors.)
Thanks so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create with this week’s colourQ!
Don’t forget, there’s still time to play along with the challenges at Christmas Card Challenges (a sketch challenge) and at Drunken Stampers (make a one layer card). I’ll be back with another post tomorrow!
