Lawnscaping Challenge 138

Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new Lawnscaping challenge, and this time, we’re inspired by geometric shapes of all kinds!

I chose this vintage (read: very much retired) “Hello Sunshine” Lawn Fawn paper that I chose for this challenge because of the tiny hearts, circles, and stars in the background.

I also used the “Winter Unicorn” and “Believe in Yourself” sets. I thought it would be a fun take on an inspirational card!

Lawnscaping Challenge #102 – Distress Addicts

Happy Monday to you! It’s time for a new Lawnscaping challenge! Our theme for challenge # 102 is to distress part of your card, whether you use inks, sprays, or rough up the edges a bit!
Today’s card is super awesome…are you ready?
The distressed elements on my card are the roughed edges on the banner and the gold ink that I sponged around the white panel.
I made the rays with the chopstick from the “Let’s Roll” set. First I stamped the rays with neon yellow ink, then used a couple of my fluorescent Copics to color them in. I’ve included a full list of supplies for this card at the bottom of my post. (If you missed last week’s post where I made a popcorn box with the chopstick, click HERE to check it out.)

New digi Tuesday at Some Odd Girl…it’s AWESOME! (Totally!)

Happy Tuesday, everybody! I’m back to share my card for today’s Some Odd Girl Stamps‘ newest digi release!
I went a bit retro with the card…after I colored up this “Pretty Unicorn“, I was inspired to make a card that looked like someone drew and colored the unicorn on a notebook page.

The label part of the sentiment was part of the May Swag bag from Paper Issues, and trimmed it to work with the recolored digital sentiment from Some Odd Girl (it’s part of the brand-new “Yes, Smile Sentiment Cutfile Pack”)!
For more AWESOME inspiration with today’s new digi and cutfiles, stop by the Some Odd Girl blog, join our Facebook group, and “like” the Some Odd Girl company Facebook page, why don’t ya?
Hope your week is off to a great start…and don’t forget to be AWESOME!
Hugs,
