Color Throwdown #118

At first, I thought of using a gingerbread stamp for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge, but I went with reindeer instead!

Here are the colors for Throwdown #118:

I used a reindeer stamp by Imaginisce for my card. The scarves came from a different image stamp.

I embossed some Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the background and some vellum to look like snow. I added brads for the reindeer’s noses (with a red one for Rudolph, of course)!
I used a rub-on sentiment from Making Memories. The ribbon is actually some polka dot grosgrain in Soft Suede by Stampin’ Up, but since I already used the polka dots as snow, I thought I’d break things up with the solid side of the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card! There are lots more inspiring entries for you to check out at the Color Throwdown…and there’s still time to link your entry!

Curtain Call Act 55

What a fun set of colors to be inspired by for this week’s Curtain Call challenge:
I took the colors and made a holiday card:

The stamps are from Imaginisce. I pieced the hat and scarf from some other Imaginisce stamps that I have. The cardstock that I embossed is from Stampin’ Up! Everything was stamped in SU Chocolate Chip. I used some papers from SEI and Making Memories to work in the brown, black and white.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
There’s still time to play along! Just link up your Curtain Call Act 55 creation before midnight (CST) on Friday, November 12!

Stampin’ Celebration #27

The design team over at Stampin’ Celebration has come up with another inspiring group of photos for this week’s challenge:
For my card, I was inspired by the colors in the photos, and the fall theme:

Supplies: Stamps (Basic Grey), Paper (My Mind’s Eye), Cardstock & Ink (Stampin’ Up!)
I kept my card simple with some image and sentiment stamps from Basic Grey. I embossed and inked some cardstock for the base, border punched a strip of cardstock for the bottom and added a larger strip of patterned paper to mount the image and sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my card!
Check out what’s new over at Stampin’ Celebration, too!

Unscripted Sketches #80

Happy Saturday! It’s time for another Unscripted Sketch!
If you’re just discovering Unscripted Sketches, every Saturday morning we post a sketch for the week. Flip it, rotate it… create a card, scrapbook page or other project with our sketch. There’s no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted Sketch as the basis of your creation!
Here’s Sketch #80!
For my card, I combined a cute image from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps (Scooter Chloe) with some mini papers from Cosmo Cricket’s Pixielicious collection!

I colored the image with a combination of markers, gel pens and colored pencils. I stamped a few extra presents and popped them up with foam squares. The large image is taking the place of the other rectangle in the sketch. I used two different paper punches to make the sun accent.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my card!
I hope you’re inspired to get crafting with our sketch! For more inspiration, don’t forget to visit the rest of the Unscripted team: Alanna, Angy, April, Arielle, Becky, CherylAnn, Debbie, Gardenia, Jenny, Lelia, Linda, Marcy, Sarah Kaye and Stephanie!

I used Sparkle Creations’ Scooter Chloe for my card:

Supplies:  Stamp (Scooter Chloe, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps), Paper: October Afternoon, My Mind’s Eye, Stampin’ Up Cardstock; Markers, colored pencils, glaze gel pens, rub-on (Making Memories), snowflake charm (Imaginisce), Ink (Stampin’ Up! and Colorbox)
I added the wreath from the Sledding Chloe stamp that I used for last week’s challenge (it’s the SCRSC prize for this week) on the front of the scooter to make the image more Christmas-themed.

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: A Study In Blue

It’s time for another Tuesday Trigger, courtesy of Moxie Fab World! This time, it’s “A Study In Blue,” but there’s no need to be sad! Just check out this fab inspiration:

For my card, I focused on the blue and white, with some silver thrown in:

Supplies: Cardstock (Stampin’ Up!), Ink: (Stampin’ Up & Encore!), Embossing Folders (Sizzix), acrylic accents (Imaginisce), Other: ribbon, Stickles.
I embossed some cardstock, used silver and white ink to highlight the embossing. Then I embossed some vellum and attached that over the background. I punched holes and tied the ribbon, then stamped my sentiment and inked the edges. Some acrylic Stickled snowflake accents finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by!
There’s still time to play along with this week’s Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World! Check out the guidelines and get your entry linked up before Sunday, November 7!
