It’s digi release day at Some Odd Girl Stamps!

Happy Tuesday, everybody! It’s time for a new digital stamp release at Some Odd Girl Stamps, and this week, we’re glad to welcome “Best Friends Tobie and Tia“!
Because the main image has both a boy and a girl, I picked some paper that was more neutral in pattern but still had some girly elements to it. These are from Basic Grey’s 6×6 “Mon Ami” paper pad designed by Kelly Purkey.
You’ll find “Best Friends Tobie and Tia” NOW in the Some Odd Girl Stamps Store! For more digi stamp release day inspiration, stop by the Some Odd Girl blog!
Make sure you’re part of our Facebook group and receive the Some Odd Girl Stamps newsletter…there are some seriously awesome things coming up this summer that you won’t want to miss!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

My Some Odd Girl Stamps Weekly Recap!

Hi everybody! If you’re going to be catching up on this week’s blog posts over the weekend, make sure you check out my tutorial on the Some Odd Girl blog on making reusable stencils with Some Odd Girl cut files!

Here’s a card that I made with the stencil from the tutorial, featuring Some Odd Girl Stamps’ super sweet “Cookies N Milk” clear stamp set:

I also made some pocket scrapbooking cards with the new “Beautiful Amazing Fabulous” sentiment cut file pack by altering the sentiments and pairing them with Some Odd Girl digis to make the pocket cards, which also work great on cards, too! You can find out how I altered the sentiments at this post on my blog.

And finally, don’t forget to hop along with Some Odd Girl Stamps and Chic Tags to check out some very chic and totally odd projects from both design teams! If you love fun, inspiration and PRIZES (and I know that you do), make sure you hop along! The hop kicks off at the Some Odd Girl blog
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with lots of crafting time!
Hugs,

Teacup Alice will make your day! It’s new digi Tuesday at Some Odd Girl Stamps!

Hi, everybody! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! My husband’s birthday was on Sunday, so we went to brunch, then grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and later had German chocolate cake and ice cream! We also went ice skating for a little bit, which was fun, even though we didn’t stay long!
Since it’s Tuesday, that means it’s time to share my projects with the newest digi at Some Odd Girl Stamps! Today’s card features “Teacup Alice“, paired with a sentiment from the “Renew” clear stamp set. You can find both the digi and the clear stamp set in the Some Odd Girl shop!
I picked some fun teacup paper from American Crafts’ “Soho Garden” 6×6 pad, and colored Mae up to match the paper! For more creative options with this new digi (and with all of the Some Odd Girl Stamps) join us on SOG’s Facebook group!

You can also find more inspiration on the Some Odd Girl blog, where you’ll also find our June Linky Party! To join in the fun, just link up your latest creations with Some Odd Girl digi or clear stamps with the Linky tool on the blog! You just might win a prize and get a shout out on the blog! Make sure you get in before this month’s party is over!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you can take some time just for yourself this week or over the coming weekend!
Hugs,

New digi Tuesday at Some Odd Girl…it’s AWESOME! (Totally!)

Happy Tuesday, everybody! I’m back to share my card for today’s Some Odd Girl Stamps‘ newest digi release!
I went a bit retro with the card…after I colored up this “Pretty Unicorn“, I was inspired to make a card that looked like someone drew and colored the unicorn on a notebook page.

The label part of the sentiment was part of the May Swag bag from Paper Issues, and trimmed it to work with the recolored digital sentiment from Some Odd Girl (it’s part of the brand-new “Yes, Smile Sentiment Cutfile Pack”)!
For more AWESOME inspiration with today’s new digi and cutfiles, stop by the Some Odd Girl blog, join our Facebook group, and “like” the Some Odd Girl company Facebook page, why don’t ya?
Hope your week is off to a great start…and don’t forget to be AWESOME!
Hugs,

Some fresh inspiration with Some Odd Girl’s Fruit Salad stamps!

Happy Tuesday! I’m back with a project featuring the second new clear stamp set at Some Odd Girl Stamps, “Fruit Salad“!

I made these little note pad holders with the set! Each holder fits a regular 3″ x 3″ sticky note pad inside, and would be part of a great end-of-the school year gift for a teacher or any time for a friend!

And because it’s Tuesday, that also means we have new digis in the Some Odd Girl store! This card features “Graduation Mae“! I cut her cap off and made it look like she threw it in the air to celebrate! For those of you who are looking for a graduating guy, you’ll also find “Graduation Kody” in the SOG store!

And there you have it!

You just might win a prize and get a shout out on the blog

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope your week is going well so far!

Some Odd Girl has Cookies ‘N Milk to share with YOU!

Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new clear stamp release at Some Odd Girl Stamps, and this month’s stamps are right up my alley! I love cute food with faces, and not only are there’s adorable “Cookies ‘N Milk” to share with you today, but you’ll go BANANAS for tomorrow’s set (and apples and pears)!
I’ve been working on my photography skills lately, and have been taking more photos outside in natural light. This one was taken on my front porch. I usually take 4-5 shots for each card and pick the best of the group for my blog post, which for me is the one that I’ll need to edit the least in Photoshop Elements.
Here are best pals Milk and Cookie! I stamped them holding hands, but you don’t have to. Each image can be stamped by itself!
An experiment on my part was to color a wood veneer heart with a Copic marker and attach some foil paper to the underside of the heart. I sealed it with some Glossy Accents. It took a long time to dry, but I think it came out OK!
You can find more delicious inspiration with this set at the Some Odd Girl blog, and both of the new clear sets are available NOW in the Some Odd Girl Store!
Now that we’ve flipped the calendar to June, there’s a new Linky Party at the Some Odd Girl blog! All you have to do is link up your latest Some Odd Girl projects for a chance at being featured, or winning some fabulous prizes! (You’ll find the linky tool on the right side of the SOG blog!)
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by today! This will be a busy week for me on the blog, so I’ll have lots of fun projects to share with you! Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!
Hugs,

New Digi Tuesday ROCKS at Some Odd Girl Stamps!

Hi, everybody! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and if you’re in the U.S., I hope you had a safe Memorial Day holiday! I’m always happy for long weekends, but I admit that I sometimes forget the day of the week…that extra day often throws me off!
Never fear, I didn’t forget that it’s Tuesday, and that it’s time to share my projects with the newest digis at Some Odd Girl Stamps! First up is “Singer Kaylee“, paired with the “Star Card Base” cut file. You can find both the digi and the cut file in the Some Odd Girl shop!
My second project for today might be a little bit out of season, but it’s part of the “Sweet Words Sentiment Pack“, which includes three digital sentiments: “Be Mine”, “Sweet” and “Hey There Gorgeous.”
I printed the sentiment on white paper, centered it in a heart-shaped stencil, sponged ink over the shape, then cut it out and attached it to a chipboard heart shape. The pink bamboo twine on my card can also be found in the Some Odd Girl Store!

And there you have it! The newest digi stamps and files in the Some Odd Girl Store!
