Hi, everybody! Are you ready for a new Retro-Fresh challenge at The Greeting Farm?
 
To keep TGF’s 5th birthday party going this month, our theme for today’s Retro-Fresh challenge is:

If you’re ready to go retro with us, here’s what you need to know: 
  • Use any TGF image (6 months or older)
  • Any crafting project is welcome: card, 3-D project, scrapbook page, etc.
  • Upload your entry to your blog or an online gallery and link it to the challenge using the link tool at the bottom of this challenge’s post on the TGF blog.
  • You have until Tuesday, September 10th at noon CST to join in the fun!

Going Retro Fresh with The Greeting Farm!

Hello crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by today!
It’s my team’s turn to post for this month’s Retro Fresh challenge at The Greeting Farm, and we’re loving layers! 
I’m featuring “Boho Anya” on today’s card. I picked her up during the last impromptu sale at TGF. I thought her layers of clothes would coordinate well with many different patterned papers and the theme of this challenge!
TGF supplies: “Boho Anya” stamp, sentiment from “Lovey Dovey” set; paper (“Random” 6×6 paper pad – Crate Paper), lace trim, sewing machine, assorted Copic markers, watermark ink, white embossing powder, adhesive rhinestones.

TGF Retro Fresh Challenge: Polka Dots and Plaid!

Are you ready for a new Retro-Fresh Challenge? The Greeting Farm‘s got you covered!

Our inspiration this month comes from polka dots and/or plaid! I chose “Cheeky Geeky” for today’s card…I can’t believe she’s been released for more than six months already! 

I managed to work in both the polka dots and the plaid on my card…you can do the same, or choose the one that inspires you more! I also used one of the new “Delicate Words” dies…they’re so much fun to play with!


Other supplies: plaid and green patterned paper (“Sugar Rush” mini pad – Basic Grey), polka dot papers (Bo Bunny Double Dot mini pads), assorted Copic markers, ink (Memento Grey Flannel), twine (Whisker Graphics), Glossy Accents, Stickles, notebook paper die (“Whatnots Die Set – Back to School” – Your Next Stamp), sewing machine, foam tape.

TGF Retro-Fresh Challenge: This One’s For the Boys!

Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new Retro-Fresh challenge at The Greeting Farm!
This month, our Retro-Fresh challenge theme is all about the guys in our lives! My husband, Scott, inspired my card for this challenge! 
Scott is very supportive of my crafting. He even helps me when I’m stuck on the design of a card or placement of brads, or can’t decide which color of twine to use!
He also encourages me to buy stamps that are knight, princess, dragon or fairy tale-themed, which are perfect for when I’m making cards to give to him! For those of you who don’t know, he has a full suit of armor and also participates in medieval re-enactment fairs, so he truly is my knight in shining armor! 
I thought “Prince Ian” would be a perfect choice for my card!
