Happy 4th of July!

Hi, everybody! If you’re in the USA, I hope you’re having a safe and happy 4th of July holiday!
We aren’t doing anything big for the holiday, but that’s OK! I was hoping we’d get to see some fireworks, but it has been pretty rainy lately, and I’m not sure what the conditions will be in the evening.
I’m sharing this card featuring “God Bless America,” an adorable digi stamp from Whimsy and Stars Studio! And, it’s available in the Whimsy and Stars Studio store!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hi and thanks for stopping by to check out my entry for the latest challenge at Cupcake Inspirations (#117)!  This week’s challenge runs for 2 weeks, so there’s still plenty of time to get your entry in, too!
Here’s the yummy star-spangled inspiration for this week:
And here’s my card:
Supplies: paper (the patterned paper is from my stash…unfortunately, I can’t remember the manufacturer), Bo Bunny Double Dot, Stickles, October Afternoon letter stickers, Pebbles adhesive dots, twine.
Thanks again for stopping by!

Don’t forget to check out the inspiring entries and DT examples at the Cupcake Inspirations blog! The deadline for entering this challenge is Saturday, July 9 at noon, so you can still play along, too!

colourQ #91

Happy Tuesday and welcome back for another colourQ challenge (#91)! This week’s color combo is great for any patriotic crafting projects you’ve been thinking about:
Here’s my card for this week! I stamped the star patterns on scraps of paper, added Stickles, then cut out strips to alternate on the background:
Supplies: stamp (We R Memory Keepers), ink (Night of Navy, Real Red – Stampin’ Up!), canvas star accent (Jillibean Soup), gems recolored with Copic markers, sentiment sticker (SRM Stickers).
I only used a little bit of burgundy on my card (it’s what the strips of blue and red fireworks are mounted on) and used silver/gray paper as another mat and to add contrast.
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend! We’re not planning anything special this year…I’m hoping to get some more crafting done this weekend and also to start purging my unused supplies!
Before you link up your entry for this week’s challenge at the colourQ blog, why don’t you visit the other members of the colourQ Royal Court? You can find their individual blog links to the left under the thumbnail of this week’s challenge colors! Thanks for stopping by!
