Hi, crafty friends of TGF! I’m sharing my card for the new Garden Variety Tuesday challenge at The Greeting Farm’s blog! We have a sketch for you this week, courtesy of  DT member Maria Therese!
Here’s my take! I like finding new ways to use my dies, and here’s another way to use the Onesie Die…as a T-shirt! (I just cut the bottom of the onesie off and stamped the cupcake from the “Mini Cupcakes” set to decorate the shirt.
For your creative reference, here’s our challenge sketch:

Going Retro Fresh with The Greeting Farm!

Hello crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by today!
It’s my team’s turn to post for this month’s Retro Fresh challenge at The Greeting Farm, and we’re loving layers!
I’m featuring “Boho Anya” on today’s card. I picked her up during the last impromptu sale at TGF. I thought her layers of clothes would coordinate well with many different patterned papers and the theme of this challenge!
TGF supplies: “Boho Anya” stamp, sentiment from “Lovey Dovey” set; paper (“Random” 6×6 paper pad – Crate Paper), lace trim, sewing machine, assorted Copic markers, watermark ink, white embossing powder, adhesive rhinestones.
Here’s the scoop on playing along with our Retro Fresh Challenge:
  • Enter a card, scrapbook layout, or 3-D project using a TGF stamp 6 months or older. (For a list of stamps by release, click HERE).
  • Upload your creation to SCS, your blog, or any online gallery and use the InLinkz tool at the bottom of this challenge’s post at the TGF blog to submit a direct link to your creation.
  • You have until TUESDAY, July 9th, 2013 at NOON CST to enter, so you have ALL month to play along. One random winner will receive their choice of ONE 4×6 *rubber or clear* stamp set and ONE single stamp... how SWEET is that?!
Thanks again for stopping by today! We can’t wait to see your retro-fresh TGF creations…see you at the TGF blog!

TGF Garden Variety Tuesday – Make It Girly!

Happy Tuesday, everybody! Hope your week is going well so far!

It’s time for a new Garden Variety Tuesday at The Greeting Farm, and we’re getting girly with our creations this week!

I’m featuring “Winky Bean” on my card, and added the girly elements of pink, glitter, pink glitter, pink ribbon, some fancy trim, flowery prints and sewing! Oh, and I threw some rhinestones in there, too!

TGF image stamp: “Winky Bean; Other supplies: paper from “Mint Julep” 6×6 pad – Basic Grey.

I would have added flowers, too, but since the image already has some in it, I just added some Stickles to the centers.

Mojo Monday on Sunday!

Hi, everybody! Hope you had a great weekend, and are managing to sneak in some crafty time along the way!

Yesterday, we went out for breakfast and ran a few errands, and today was fairly low-key. We finished going through boxes in one of our spare bedrooms and are down to one and a half rooms that need to be sorted through. YAY!

I still have a few things I’d like to do to set up my craft room, but those will come around eventually. I painted my pegboard and hope to get it up on the wall this week.

In the meantime, I’m stopping in to share my card for Mojo Monday #296. I’ve wanted to play along for some time, but never seemed to get around to it. I’m happy to have a card to share with you today!

Supplies: image stamps (“Saturday” and “Blush Crown” – The Greeting Farm), sentiment stamp (Paper Smooches), papers (“Clippings” 6×6 pad – Basice Grey), assorted Copic markers, silver pigment ink, Memento Rich Cocoa ink, clear embossing powder, brads, jute twine, button, sewing machine.
Scott’s birthday is coming up soon, and I’m not sure if I’ll give him this card or make another before then.
My card is a little different from the original sketch. I flipped the strip of paper with the brads so they’re on the right side instead of the left, and added some jute twine and a button along the bottom. Here’s the original Mojo Monday sketch for your reference:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful week!
Hugs,

Garden Variety Tuesday: 1+5+5

Happy Tuesday, Friends of the Farm! I hope your week is going well so far!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments you left for me and the rest of the DT during this weekend’s new release blog hop! We love hearing what you think about our creations with each month’s new release!

Our Garden Variety Tuesday challenge for this week is based on today being the 155th day of the year. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it (and I’m really hoping you will), is to use a recipe of 1+5+5 on your entry.
For my card, I chose to feature “Winky Bean” (1 image) and added five flowers + five adhesive pearls/gems …whew! But, you can make your own combination of 1+5+5 for this challenge!

TGF stamp: “Winky Bean“; paper (“Sugar Rush” 6×6 pad), glitter brads, flowers, sheer ribbon, assorted Copic markers, adhesive gems/pearls, Stickles, Spellbinders Labels 25 die.
So there you have it! Be sure and stop by the TGF blog to see what the rest of the DT created for this week’s Garden Variety Tuesday and to get all of the details on how to link up YOUR entry for this challenge!

Oh, BABY! It’s time for the TGF June Release!

Hi, sweet Friends of the Farm!

Thanks so much for joining me today for the JUNE release at The Greeting Farm! You probably arrived here from the TGF blog, and I’m so glad you stopped by!

As you’ve seen over the past few days, we’re going “ga-ga” over this new installment of cuteness available NOW in the TGF Store!   We’re welcoming the new onesie die (and accessories), the revamped Anya and Ian stamp set, the new Winky Bean, and a new WS “Charlotte Chic”!  We’re keeping it sweet and sassy this month and can’t WAIT to see what you do with these new items!

I have two projects to share with you today…the first is a quick set of gift tags that I made with the recently re-released Baby Anya & Ian stamp set!

These came together pretty quick. I cut a standard card base in half, added a panel of patterned paper and stamped the sentiment on a coordinating strip of paper. Adding the colored image, punching a hole, then threading twine, and you’re done! 🙂

I’ll leave you now to continue our Blog Hop, where you’ll not only find inspiration and adorable project samples, but you’ll also be on your way to a chance to WIN the ENTIRE JUNE RELEASE!   One lucky winner who hops and comments on each DT members’ blog and then returns to the TGF BLOG to let us know they did, will win and you have ALL WEEKEND to hop since today’s a Saturday!

Just enter by Sunday, June 2nd at 11:30 pm and we’ll announce the winner along with our fabulous June Guest Designer Monday morning, June 3rd.  Your next stop on the hop is Rosie’s fabulous blog! Happy hopping, everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

TGF stamp (“Handy Ian” digi), Other supplies: jute twine, wood button, mini screw brads, assorted Copic markers, patterned paper (“Vintage T” 6×6 pad – We R Memory Keepers), silver gel pen, Memento Nautical Blue ink.

TGF Farm Fresh Friday – Paper Piecing!

Happy Friday, friends of the Farm! It’s time for a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge at The Greeting Farm, and this week we’re putting the pieces together with the theme of paper piecing!
I love fussy cutting, and I don’t paper piece images as much anymore because I love to color, but I wanted to do something fun for this challenge card.
I chose the dog from the “Anya Strolls” set to relax on a paper pieced chair from the “Sitting Wonderful” stamp set. The set’s magazine and glass accessories seemed perfect, too!
Because the main image had so much going on, I decided to keep the rest of the card design fairly simple. The sentiment I used is one of the two included in the “Anya Strolls” set.
So, what do you need to know to join us for our Farm Fresh Friday challenge? Here’s the scoop:
  • You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
  • *Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz below the challenge post on the TGF blog no later than Thursday, May 23rd at NOON CST
  • You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in the comment section below the post on the TGF blog.)
  • *The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win their choice of an in-stock SINGLE RUBBER STAMP or a 4×6 set!
I hope you enjoyed my coffee filter flower tutorial that I posted on Wednesday. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, just click HERE to see it on the TGF blog!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulously creative weekend!
