TEAL is our inspiration color for this month’s hop, so I made a card with the narwhal in Lawn Fawn’s “Critters in the Arctic” stamp set . The stars are from the “Lucky Stars” stamp set.

100_5683wm

I cut a panel from a sheet of teal star patterned paper in the Beachside petite paper pack. The waves are made from strips of white card stock that I cut with the largest of the “Stitched Scallop Borders” Lawn Cuts dies.

I used five different Copic markers (BG15, BG18, BG53, BG57, and BG78) to color the strips so that they’d create an ombre effect when layered. I used a 1/2″ circle punch on the top die cut strip to make the top wave.

PINK is our inspiration color for this month’s hop, so I made a card with Lawn Fawn’s “Best Pun Ever” stamp set and the “Scripty Hello” Lawn Cuts die. The heart-shaped steam is from the “Whale You Be Mine” clear stamp set.

I cut strips of striped paper from the Let’s Polka petite paper packs, lined them up to make a chevron pattern, then adhered them to a thin sheet of card stock before adhering the panel to the front of the card. The sentiment is die cut from a thin sheet of cork.

Lawnscaping FIT March Blog Hop!

This month, the FIT is inspired by GREEN, so I made a mini gift bag and a gift card holder with Lawn Fawn’s “Love You A Latte” and “My Lucky Charm” sets. I made both the gift bag and the card holder with the Goodie Bag Lawn Cuts die.

I made the custom paper by stamping patterns on white card stock and coloring the images.

It MOOSE be Lawn Fawn’s 5th Birthday!

Hi, everybody! I’m joining a few crafty friends today to wish Lawn Fawn a happy 5th birthday!
You may have arrived from Sharna‘s blog, but in case you’re starting here and want to go back to the start of the hop, you’ll find the full hop list at Jenn‘s blog!
One of the many things I love about Lawn Fawn stamps is the ability to mix up the different sets and create different combinations! Since today’s hop is birthday themed, I thought it would be fun to get the moose from Critters in the Arctic dressed up for a party!
I started by stamping the party hat, then masked it off and stamped the moose. Then, I made masks for the moose’s antlers and stamped the balloons from the Year Four set. I used a black multiliner pen to “tie” the balloons to the antlers.
Then, I colored the images to match the Into the Woods petite paper pad and stamped up a custom sentiment with a few of my Lawn Fawn sets. You can find a full list of the supplies that I used at the bottom of my post.
Your next stop on the hop is Roxanne‘s blog! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy hopping!

The papers are from Lawn Fawn‘s “Snow Day” petite paper pack. I embellished the card with some heart-shaped brads and some Peppermint Lawn Trimmings twine.

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Krafty Friends Blog Hop

Hi, everybody! I’m so excited to be part of the first ever Krafty Friends Blog Hop featuring Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps’ Krafty Friends! The blog hop is filled with creations by customers (like me), design team members and friends of KKS and we’re so excited to share some of our creations!

My card for the hop features “Tabitha,” designed by Annie Rodrigue!

I love purple, but I don’t use it a lot in my crafting. I challenged myself to color Tabitha in shades of purple, and matched my coloring to the paper pad I planned to use (Basic Grey’s Aurora).

Feel free to start the hop from the beginning at the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Blog, then hop around and check out all the fabulous designs! Be sure to leave a comment at each stop because there will be prizes and giveaways to some random commenters!

Not only can you comment to win, you can JOIN the blog hop by posting your own design! Just link up a new creation featuring a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp to the main blog post and you’ll not only be a part of this fun hop, but you’ll be entered to WIN more goodies!!

You have until February 28th to comment on all of the participants’ blogs (including mine) and to link up your design!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope your week is off to a great start! Happy hopping!

Before I share my card for the hop, I want you to know that we’re welcoming a NEW sponsor to our blog hop: The Ink Road! The Ink Road is an adorable shop run by the fabulous Lara Smith, and it’s filled with all kinds of crafty goodies from stamps (including our beloved Lawn Fawn), to dies, journals and planners! If she doesn’t have it in the store, she can get it! Lara also price matches AND ships internationally.

Lawnscaping FIT December Blog Hop: Turquoise and Green!

Hi, everybody! It’s my first official monthly blog hop as part of the Lawnscaping Challenge’s Facebook Inspiration Team! This month’s blog hop is sponsored by Spectrum Noir, and they’re giving away a generous prize pack of two sets of alcohol-based markers in TURQUOISE and GREEN!
Make sure you leave comments on all of the blogs in today’s hop, because ONE lucky person will be chosen from ALL of the comments left on the blogs to win the prize! (So, that means the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!)
And, since TURQUOISE and GREEN are inspiring our hop creations, I came up with this card:
I used papers from Lawn Fawn‘s “Let’s Polka” and “Sweater Weather” petite paper packs, the walrus, the ice,  a sentiment and some snowflakes from “Critters in the Arctic“. I also used snowflakes from a few different Lawn Fawn sets: “Winter Penguin“, “Critters in the Arctic“, and “Yeti, Set Go“.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday yesterday and are having lots of holiday fun!

Hello Oddies, welcome to Day 1 of our 3rd Annual Hol-ODD-Day Hop!

hop

We Odd Girls have joined together for a fun event for EVERYONE – not just because you get to hop, but because you get to PARTICIPATE and share your own holiday creations!

We mixed things up a bit to bring you a variety of holiday projects that we hope will inspire you. You can comment on all of the blogs, participate by linking your own below (to be eligible to win, be sure you link to us in your post), and comment throughout the event on other people’s links as well!

And there will be PRESENTS! The hop starts Monday, December 8 and runs through Friday, December 12th. We’ll be announcing 3 winners next Wednesday, December 17th, so you have plenty of time to comment between now and then! You have until midnight on Friday, December 12 to link your projects to our Hol-ODD-Day Hop link party.

Today, all of the Odd Girls have projects to share for the big event, so you can visit their blogs to see what they’ve created for the hop. (You can find the full hop list at the bottom of my post.)

I made ornaments using the Snowflake Ornament cut file. You could also use this file to make photo gift tags or dress up a gift bag! I dressed up the ornaments with some Sorbet Sequins, glitter glue, and some Blue Bamboo twine to hang them up! If you don’t have photos to use, you can substitute your favorite holiday Some Odd Girl digi or clear stamp!

The pictures I used are a few years old, but I made one featuring our dog, Midnight, and another with Scott & me:

Here’s the hop list for our awesome team:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Remember to comment along the way, and link up your holiday-themed projects using Some Odd Girl stamps (new or old)! We can’t wait to see what you make!
