Lawnscaping Challenge 136

Hi, everybody! It’s time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge! The theme for Challenge #136 is “Punny Time“, which means we’d like you to use one of Lawn Fawn‘s many punny sentiments in your entry (or you can create your own)!

Here’s my card. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn’s “Happy Harvest” and the now-retired “Happy Feast” sets.

I stamped the corn stalks in three different colors of green ink to give them a layered look. I stamped the wagon, colored it, and trimmed off the pumpkins that are normally inside. I stamped the mini corn a bunch of times and the larger corn to be the featured one in the wagon.

I used a small strip of kraft cardstock and one of the Stitched Hillside Borders to create the ground. I used several dies and punches to create the blue ribbon.

Lawnscaping Challenge #136 is sponsored by Lawn Fawn! One lucky winner will receive a stamp set of their choice from the Lawn Fawn store!

Lawnscaping Challenge 135

Hi, everybody! It’s a new month and also time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!
The theme for Challenge #135 is “Patterned Palooza“, which means we’d like you to use patterns of some kind in your entry. For example, you can use patterned paper, or make your own pattern with your craft supplies and stamps!

Here’s my card. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn’s “On The Mend” and “Treat Yourself” sets. I think any friend or loved one going through a difficult time in their personal life would love to get a card like this card in the mail!

I covered the face on the tissue stamp with washi tape to mask it and paper pieced the box with scraps from the “Perfectly Plaid” petite paper pack. the ice cream container and curved panel were made with sheets from the “Let’s Polka Mon Amie” petite paper pack, specifically the sheets of Strawberry Polka and Mint Line Dance.  I colored the spoon with a silver gel pen.
